Robert Watts

Robert has been painting aircraft since 1966 when he was lead illustrator at the Ryan Aeronautical Company. In 1971 he served as a combat artist in Vietnam for the US Naval art program. After many years illustrating aircraft and ships for leading manufacturing corporations Robert started concentrating on fine art painting. He was honoured with Best of Show awards two years running with his first entries in the American Society of Aviation Artists' juried exhibitions in 1992 and 1993. Robert has painted a number of commissions for the Military Gallery which are currently available as limited edition prints.
