BOMBING UP TOMMY
Richard Taylor's outstanding painting depicts the scene just a few hours before departure, on the afternoon of 16 May 1943 at RAF Scampton as the hardworking ground crews of 617 Squadron ready their Lancasters in preparation for the night's raid.

DAMBUSTERS - ?GONER 58A'
Robert Taylor's skill and artistry reflects his intimate and authentic knowledge of the events that took place on that epic, moonlit night in May 1943. Over the past four decades he has enjoyed the company of almost every man to survive Operation Chastise, has listened to their stories first-hand, and counted many of them as friends. The knowledge acquired, and the friendships gained have, without doubt, given Robert an unparalleled insight into the legendary Dambusters.

HEADLONG INTO THE CLASH
Luftwaffe fighters of JG300 and JG301 charge into a close formation of B-17s from the 390th Bomb Group heading for Magdeburg in northern Germany, during the huge allied offensive, 14 January 1945. Flt Lt Joe Peterburs along with other P-51s from the 20th Fighter Group, dives in to engage the enemy as the Bf109G of Lt Bruno Klostermann screams past in an attempt to penetrate the bomber formation.
During the many aerial encounters that day, the Luftwaffe sent up a force of some 200 fighters
but after a crushing defeat, suffered such heavy losses that they would never
challenge the Eighth Air Force in strength again.
This breath-taking edition, signed by iconic Luftwaffe and US Fighter Pilots, will undoubtedly rank as one of the pinnacles in Robert Taylor's long and distinguished career.
